Help keep our campuses safe this winter by helping more students get the free COVID-19 vaccine. This event is a great opportunity to learn more about the vaccine, how the vaccine protects us from the deadly impact of the COVID-19 virus, and address misinformation about the vaccine.
We encourage campuses to assemble teams of students, staff, and faculty members that will participate in this event. Having the commitment from each group will help ensure that this is a campus-wide effort.
Each event will have a "Shark Tank" component where campuses compete for $1,500 in grants to support their campus action plans on vaccine outreach.
Attendees will:
- Develop a campus-based action plan on vaccine outreach.
- Learn about the vaccine and how higher education institutions can play a role in educating students
- Understand ways to address fear and stigma around the vaccine
