About the Conference
Students will travel outside of Minnesota and with the Legislative process in Washington, D.C. for yet another exciting conference. The three-day DC Student Summit in our nation’s capital will equip students with the skills necessary to elevate their stories and lived experiences directly to federal policymakers. Led by LeadMN and Today’s Students Coalition, students will have the opportunity to learn how to effectively share their stories with policymakers, learn about current hot topics in DC surrounding higher education, racial equity, and efforts to address students’ basic needs as well as a day on the Hill meeting with Congressional offices.
PLEASE NOTE
Before attending the 2024 D.C. Summit, students are encouraged to attend 2024 Advocacy Day. This event is first come, first serve and we only have 30 spots to fill. So sign up as soon as you can!
