LeadMN provides internship opportunities to students that attend Minnesota's two-year community and technical colleges so they can get more involved in certain issues or campaigns they care about. LeadMN also has a full-time staff that helps guide the organization year-to-year.

Lead Organizer

The Lead Organizer will be responsible for developing and executing strategies with our student leaders to get them to become more actively engaged on their campus and within their communities. That will require working with and supporting student senates, student clubs, and students that want to get involved. This position will help advance our higher education policy objectives at the Minnesota State System office and support LeadMN’s leadership development activities through training and mentorship of students. COVID-19 Public Health Intern

LeadMN’s Health Equity campaign has focused on helping students address food insecurity and mental health issues. Over the next year we want to expand this effort to address vaccine hesitancy amongst college students. This Internship position will focus mainly on engaging students at two-year Community College campuses. The Public health Interns will work closely with the Outreach Director to carry out LeadMN’s Covid outreach plans by supporting engagement on eight campuses until May 2022.  We are looking for four interns for four open positions.
