About Wellness & resilience

In multiple conversations over numerous listening sessions, students identified that gaps in their basic needs negatively impacted their academic success, personal well-being, and overall college experience. This event aims to create a platform where students, college decision-makers, policy leaders, community members, and health experts come together to engage in pandemic recovery through impactful discussions, activities, and resource sharing.

Note to Attendees - Registration costs:

This event is free for all students. We ask that non-students pay to attend, and those who want to support Wellness & Resilience being free for students but are unable to attend make a payment as well. Click the registration link above for these options. 

Note to attendees - TRavel stipend: 

We are offering travel stipends for attendees who live more than an hour away/60 miles; and attendees who are facing other transportation concerns. Please email events@leadmn.org with the subject line "Summit Stipend - Travel" to request one!

LeadMN is committed to creating an inclusive and assessable environment for all students. We strive to ensure that every individual can fully participate in our events and activities. As such, we have taken the following steps to ensure that our upcoming event, Wellness & Resilience: Empowering the whole student is accessible to everyone.

Transportation: LeadMN represents the 100,000 two - year college students across the state. We recognize that students who live outside of the metro may experience hardship to attend. We also recognize students may be facing other barriers to transportation and may need support getting to the event, even if they live in the metro. Travel stipends are available for students, contact events@leadmn.org. 

Venue: Wellness & Resilience will be held at Hennepin Tech, Eden Prairie. This campus Is wheelchair accessible  with accessible entrances, restrooms, and seating areas. We will have designated prayer rooms for students observing Ramadan. Additionally, the venue will be equipped with. designated quiet spaces for individuals who may need a break or sensory accommodations.
